People Say The Darndest Things

Sometimes a person touches you totally out of the blue. I received a recommendation from a collegue that just caused me to stop in my tracks. Oh David –  how I miss you! I still have the “Easy Button” on my desk! YOU, my friend are an inspiration. Thank you for your kind words (Your $50 is in the mail ♥ ).

Sally was a pleasure to work with. Her positive outlook is infectious, and she sustains it even when things aren’t going as well as they could. She has the ability to separate the relationship with a colleague from the work being performed, which allows her to remain in partnership with them regardless of project status. This is one of the skills that makes her a great leader, and inspires others to get into action even in the face of adversity. Just as important, however, is Sally’s ability to be with people, from clients to constituents, colleagues to vendors. Everyone who talks with Sally comes away from the conversation knowing that they were important to her, that they mattered, and that they were heard. I heartily recommend Sally, and hope to have the opportunity to work with her again in the future. February 10, 2008
